REPORT: ‘CANES BACK IN BRYCE DERBY?

Shortly after we -- meaning I -- posted the story about Miami (Fla.) pulling out of the circus that is the recruitment of Bryce Brown, we -- meaning I -- remembered that Brown’s advisor has a website which updates the news surrounding his “clients”.Including Brown.In the “News & Events” section of the site, there’s a story dated February 17 -- but with no time stamp -- which states the following, supposedly from Brown himself:"I will be going to LSU on an unofficial visit and my final official visit will be to the University of Miami."Say what?So, now, we have a reputable newspaper stating very emphatically that Brown is no longer under consideration by the Hurricanes, while a very... ummm... a website focused on Brown and his plans states just as emphatically that his final visit will be to those very Hurricanes -- the weekend of March 3, incidentally.It’s unclear as to when Brown’s website posted the update, although, based on the Palm Beach Post report, it seemed to come before The Post came out with their rendition of the current Bryce events.Somebody is very, horribly wrong about this one. Who would I put my money on being right?No one. I’m taking that cash and using it toward the purchase of additional popcorn. I think I’m gonna need it.
