SUSPENDED OKIE ST. WR HIT WITH ‘ROID CHARGE

The news just went from bad to worse for Oklahoma State wide receiver Bo Bowling.According to the Daily Oklahoman, Bowling has been hit with an amended charge of possession of an anabolic steroid. That’s in addition to the original charges of felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, misdemeanor possession of a controlled dangerous substance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.The middle of the three charges was amended to include the anabolic steroid Stanozolol.The charges stemmed from a February 4 incident in which Bowling’s residence was raided by Stillwater police armed with a search warrant.A motion filed by Bowling’s attorney to suppress evidence gathered in the search was denied earlier today.A May 8 court appearance has been scheduled for the suspended receiver.
