INACTIVES
4:00 PM ET FINAL SCORES
Cardinals 9 @ Seahawks 19
Bills 24 @ Chiefs 20
Panthers 10 @ Rams 24
7:30 - Picked off! Mahomes was just picked off with less than a minute to go! The play was under review but the call on the field stands.
7:26 - Touchdown Bills! Dawson Knox added his third reception for a touchdown against the Chiefs. They lead 24-20 and any hopes of overtime are now over.
7:16 - Darrell Henderson put the game away with a two-yard touchdown for the Rams to make it 24-10 against the Panthers.
7:06 - Allen was just brought down by the Chiefs but that should have been a penalty. The Bills have to punt.
7:01 - Kansas City just took the lead with a field goal.
7:00 - Murray was just picked off by the Seahawks. I feel like I’ve said that before. There are less than four minutes to go in that matchup.
6:53 - When in doubt, go to ol’ faithful known as Travis Kelce. There is a flag on the field for offensive pass interference on Kelce, but still.
6:51 - Oh boy. Eason was just intercepted in the end zone. Ugh.
INJURY UPDATE: Walker is out of the game and Jacob Eason is in the game.
6:35 - The Cardinals and the Chiefs are both in the red zone. Murray was just sacked and they turned it over on downs to the Seahawks who have a commanding lead of 19-9.
Mahomes got himself out of trouble and found Mecole Hardman for a three-yard touchdown. They are tied 17-17 with the Bills.
6:34 - Henderson has the Rams on the three-yard line with a lead of 17-10 on the Panthers. He powered his way into the end zone for a touchdown to extend their lead over Carolina.
6:30 - Stefon Diggs added a score to the Bills’ bottom line on a 17-yard pass from Allen.
6:28 - Robbie Anderson was just grounded and sent to the locker room, but Kenneth Walker just scored a touchdown for the Seahawks on an 11-yard run up the middle.
6:19 - The Cardinals’ defense just blew up a punt from the Seahawks for a score but the extra point was no good. Ew. The Cardinals still trail 9-12.
6:17 - I have a theory. Whichever player I put in the “hero” image (the main image in the article) plays like garbage. Right now, it’s Kyler Murray. I should change it and see what happens.
6:14 - The Rams have some life in them after a great play by both Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson. It’s Skowronek with the 17-yard touchdown.
6:10 - Oh no! Murray took off again but fumbled! The Seahawks recovered on their own 19-yard line.
6:04 - Weird… another field goal. The Seahawks added three more to their lead to make it 12-3 against the Cardinals.
6:00 - Ok, Ronnie Rivers! The running back got the Rams into scoring position on a 14-yard pass from Stafford. Brandon Powell got them to the two-yard line.
Harrison Butker is BACK! He just tied up the game 10-10 as time expired before the half.
Matt Gay also kicked a field goal for the Rams and that game is tied 10-10.
5:55 - Yay! A TOUCHDOWN! Gave Davis scored a touchdown after being backed up in their own end zone a few plays before. That was a 34-yard touchdown pass to Davis from Allen.
5:52 - Did everyone finally wake up? The Rams are charging after a nice pass to Ben Skowronek and Zach Ertz was just short of the first down. Murray chucked it up into the end zone and the Seahawks nearly picked him off. Seattle will take over on downs.
5:50 - North and south, Kyler Murray! He just took off out of the pocket and did a little too much east/west running, but he did get the first down.
5:44 - Oh no… Smith-Schuster just got an unsportsmanlike conduct call after getting the first down.
5:25 - Ok, so, halftime is coming up. Let’s hope these teams can get their acts together and make this a little more interesting. Please and thank you.
5:23 - The Bills couldn’t convert on third down so the Bills are bringing Tyler Bass onto the field. Never mind! They are going for it! Allen just missed Isaiah McKenzie as he was falling backward.
5:14 - Matthew Stafford just threw a pick-six to the Panthers. Carolina leads the Rams 10-7.
5:10 - FINALLY! JuJu Smith-Schuster just broke two tackles to score for the Chiefs on a 42-yard catch and run.
5:07 - I wish I had a lot more to tell you. Unfortunately, it’s been a lot of flags and not much offense.
5:02 - What? It’s Allen Robinson with a Rams touchdown!
Tyler Bass just kicked a field goal to make it 3-0 Bills over the Chiefs.
4:55 - Yay… another field goal. The Seahawks lead 6-3. (Snooze).
4:46 - Wow! Mahomes’ pass into the end zone was picked off!
4:42 - Well, that was almost a cool touchdown. Unfortunately, there was an ineligible man downfield for the Chiefs that took the touchdown off the board.
Kelce hit the ground hard and is holding his arm.
4:40 - Nice pass to Mecole Hardman! The Chiefs are in scoring position after the turnover.
4:36 - Josh Allen just fumbled and Kansas City recovered on their 11-yard line.
4:13 - Christian McCaffrey just glued the football to his hand on a pass from P.J. Walker. Wow, that was insane. They also had to settle for a field goal.
4:09 - The Cardinals are already in scoring position against the Seahawks on the five-yard line. They had to settle for a field goal and lead 3-0.
1:00 PM ET FINAL SCORES
49ers 14 @ Falcons 28
Patriots 38 @ Browns 15
Jets 27 @ Packers 10
Jaguars 27 @ Colts 34
Vikings 24 @ Dolphins 16
Bengals 30 @ Saints 26
Ravens 20 @ Giants 24
Buccaneers 18 @ Steelers 20
4:03 - What is happening? Matt Ryan is coming alive! He found Alec Pierce (one of my favorites) for his first NFL touchdown for 32 yards. They might be going for two, up 32-27 to the Jaguars. There it is! Phillip Lindsay got into the end zone for the successful extra two points.
Gesicki just scored his second touchdown and the Dolphins go for two but the attempt is unsuccessful.
4:00 - Oh goodness! The Giants just stripped the Ravens with 1:30 left on the clock!
Jordan Love is officially in the game for the Packers.
3:54 - The scores just keep coming! Leonard Fournette added an 11-yard receiving touchdown for the Buccs against the Steelers. The two-point conversion was… NO GOOD!
3:52 - Amari Cooper just scored for the Browns! He has been distressing managers (Dave, I see you) but he pulled through with the TD for 15 yards.
3:48 - Two touchdowns… Dalvin Cook just scored a 53-yard rushing touchdown for the Vikings and Chase just scored a 60-yard receiving touchdown for the Bengals.
Jordan Love is warming up on the sidelines in Green Bay.
3:47 - Christian Kirk just scored for the Jaguars and then Jackson was just picked off! The Giants are back on offense inside the 10-yard line.
3:45 - OH NO! Waddle just coughed up the football and the Vikings take over on their own 41-yard line.
3:43 - Oh my. The Jets just took over on downs.
3:40 - Well, Trubisky just made Chase Claypool relevant with a six-yard touchdown.
3:32 - Burrow was just sacked two times in a row. Not fun. But, touchdown Daniel Bellinger for the Giants!
INJURY UPDATE: Saquon Barkley‘s arm looks… well… not good. He landed hard on his shoulder which was sore coming into this game. He is still in, though. (Insert cringe face emoji here)
3:26 - Not going to lie. I am counting down the minutes until the Bills vs. Chiefs game. Don’t tell anyone.
Meanwhile, Andrews just made a beautiful catch for a Ravens’ touchdown on a 12-yard pass. They lead 20-10 against the Giants.
How did I miss this? Teddy Bridgewater is in for Skylar Thompson.
Breece Hall TOUCHDOWN! Can you believe it? The Jets lead the Packers 24-10.
The Colts added a touchdown from Jelani Woods, a rookie tight end. They take the lead over the Jaguars 26-21.
Holy cow! More touchdowns! Mike Gesicki (whose Gritty dance was much better this time) just scored for the Dolphins.
3:24 - Zach Wilson just threw a very Patrick Mahomes-ish side-arm pass to C.J. Uzomah. They are trying to get past midfield against the Packers with less than a minute to go in the third quarter.
3:22 - The Vikings drove down the field and are on the three-yard line. There it is! A touchdown pass to Adam Thielen!
3:20 - The Packers aren’t giving up. Rodgers just found Allen Lazard but there is a flag on the field. The call is roughing the passer so the touchdown will hold.
INJURY UPDATE: Questionable coming into this matchup, TE Cameron Brate has been down on the field for some time. The cart is coming out on the field.
3:17 - The Jaguars just turned it over on down after the option didn’t work for Lawrence. Welcome to the NFL.
3:13 - P.S. Pittman’s two-point conversion was reversed and taken off the board. The Colts now trail 19-21 to the Jaguars.
3:10 - JETS! Will Parks and the Jets just blocked a punt, scooped, and scored on the Packers. Meanwhile, Hunter Henryhas decided to show up and he just scored a 31-yard touchdown for the Patriots.
3:07 - Two touchdowns! One from Ja’Marr Chase for 15 yards and the other by Deon Jackson (filling in for the injured Taylor) for 11 yards. The Colts are going for two (their first of the season). Holy cow! Well done, Pittman! The game is tied 21-21. Does Indianapolis finally have some life in them? Let’s go!
3:06 - Perhaps out of a wealth of caution, Mitchell Trubisky is in at QB after Pickett took a hit and went to the ground hard. This is likely going to be a concussion protocol issue, so we’ll keep an eye on it. He was slow to get up, though, so this may be Trubisky’s game for the remainder of the game.
3:01 - J-E-T-S … Jets! Jets! Jets! Braxton Berrios just rushed for a 20-yard touchdown against the Packers in Green Bay. New York has the lead 10-3.
2:57 - Brady is knocking on touchdown’s door but he had to throw it away then missed Russell Gage. The second attempt to Gage looks like it hit the ground, but he is vehemently pleading his case. Oh, heck no. That’s not a touchdown. Nice try, though.
What?! Lamar Jackson‘s pass bounced off of the hands of Mark Andrews and it was nearly picked off in the end zone. The pass was tipped, but that was still not something you normally see from the duo.
2:51 - Lawrence rushed in his second touchdown. A lot of us need both Travis Etienne and J. Robinson. Help, please. Thank you.
2:48 - The Patriots added to their lead with a two-yard touchdown to Tyquan Thornton from Zappe.
2:44 - The Falcons have been gashing the 49ers on the ground. Mariota has 51 yards rushing and a rushing touchdown, Caleb Huntley has 40 yards, and Tyler Allgeier has 27. Mariota also has 107 passing. Mostly to Olamide Zaccheaus for 56 yards. Drake London has two receptions for 35 yards. Then Kyle Pitts IS BACK! He just scored a touchdown.
2:39 - The Steelers started their second half with an 89-yard kick return. Let’s hope this translates into a touchdown and not just a field goal.
Maybe I cursed them. They had to settle for a field goal. Sorry.
2:31 - Fumble! D. Jones had to scramble and he dropped the football. Luckily, that’s the end of the half.
Well, would you look at that? All of the 1:00 games are in halftime at the same time. Imagine that.
2:26 - Cade York of the Browns and Greg Joseph of the Vikings both kicked field goals. Exciting.
2:24 - Luckily for Brady, Ryan Succop made it a one-point game with a 55-yard field goal. That’s his third of the game. His first two were 30 and 27 yards.
2:19 - Oh no! The Dolphins’ 53-yard field goal was wide right and Tom Brady is having another meltdown. Then the Falcons just picked off Jimmy Garoppolo.
2:14 - The Colts finally found the end zone with a pass from Matt Ryan to Parris Campbell for a four-yard touchdown.
2:12 - This Bengals @ Saints game is getting good! Burrow took it himself for a 19-yard touchdown run. Not be left out, Marcus Mariota rushed in a touchdown for the Falcons.
2:09 - TE Irv Smith scored on a one-yard pass from Kirk Cousins. They lead the Dolphins 7-3.
2:05 - Oh boy… Chris Boswell got lucky. His 55-yard attempt hit the crossbar but went in for a Steelers’ three-point addition.
Ouch, a deep pass just went right through the hands of Chase.
2:00 - Wan’Dale Robinson! Welcome back, my young friend! He was the beneficiary of a five-yard touchdown pass from Daniel Jones. They are tied with the Ravens 7-7.
1:57 - Welp, I am terrible at my job. Brandon Aiyuk just scored a touchdown and it was his second score (which I missed). The first TD was on a 12-yard pass and the second was on a 14-yard pass.
1:49 - Ugh, why? So many no-names doing good things in fantasy. Kenyan Drake just scored for the Ravens on a 30-yard run. Ok, I know that Drake isn’t exactly a “no name” but did you start him? If you did, it was out of necessity, and congratulations.
Oh, look! Another one! JaMycal Hasty just busted off a 61-yard touchdown run for the Jaguars. Ugh.
1:47 - Oh boy! Tom Brady just got sacked for the first time today (on third down, no less) and Mason Crosby‘s kick for the Packers was blocked.
1:44 - I missed a touchdown from Joe Mixon. It was on a nine-yard pass from Joe Burrow. Then Rashid Shaheed of the Saints broke the tie with a whopping 44-yard rushing touchdown for the Saints.
1:32 - Oh no! Jeff Wilson just fumbled and the Falcons scooped and scored. They lead the 49ers 14-0 in the first quarter.
1:22 - Ok, Skylar Thompson! He found Jaylen Waddle on a deep pass to get the Dolphins into the Vikings’ territory.
New England kicked a field goal earlier, by the way.
The Jaguars are on the one-yard line and James Robinson was held short. Trevor Lawrence took it in himself for the touchdown.
The Steelers held Tom Brady and Buccs to fourth down.
1:18 - Holy cow! What a beautiful catch by Ja’Marr Chase to get the Bengals past midfield.
1:13 - Kenny Pickett completed a six-yard pass to a wide-open Najee Harris who scored for the Steelers. Pickett is 5/5 for 37 yards and a touchdown already against the Buccaneers.
1:12 - The Falcons spent the opening drive of the game hedging their way downfield. That ended with a touchdown pass to MyCole Pruitt for an Atlanta touchdown against the 49ers.
1:09 - New Orleans just took possession after the Bengals coughed up the punt return. They are in scoring position on the 25-yard line. Taysom Hill is under center, by the way. Maybe just for that play? Andy Dalton came back into the game as the QB and found Tre’Quan Smith for an 18-yard touchdown.
1:08 - Bummer… Gardner did not get the interception but they did hold the Packers to a three-and-out. Not too bad, Jets. Not too bad.
1:05 - We are kicking off the action with two interceptions! Sauce Gardner intercepted Aaron Rodgers for a potential pick-six and Bailey Zappe was just picked off by the Browns.
