The 25-year Dane had some shoulder issues earlier in the year but got those sorted out before he went overseas to post back-to-back top 15s in PGA TOUR events. More recently, he arrives with T4 and T29 in his two lead-in starts. He stayed locked in today with 12-of-14 fairways his and 17 GIR, giving himself eight scoring chances from inside of 10 feet. Helligkilde also rolled in a 15-footer for eagle at the par-5 fifth. “I love this place, HimmerLand, such a great atmosphere... I would say 90 percent of the people following me today, I know them. I’m not a superstar (yet) like the twins (Hojgaards) so it’s nice to have people come out and cheer me on.” The youngster started the week at 94th in the DP World Tour Rankings and could make a big move if he keeps his foot on the gas for three more days.
