Simms

Simms (6'/188) was eligible for the Supplemental Draft on Wednesday but wasn’t selected. He was thought to be the only other player with a chance to get picked, but Washington State S Jalen Thompson was the only player taken -- by the Cardinals in the fifth round. Simms ran the forty three times at his pro day, clocking times of 4.49, 4.45, and 4.40 while registering a 36-inch vertical leap and 10-foot-2 broad jump. Over his last two seasons at WVU, Simms caught 81 balls for 1,362 yards and seven touchdowns. He’ll compete for a job in camp.
