Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports that Angels first baseman Albert Pujols has agreed to participate in the 2015 Home Run Derby, hosted at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. It will be the fourth Derby in which Pujols has appeared, and his first since 2009.

Pujols first participated in 2003 and lost to Garrett Anderson. He only made it to Round 2 in 2007 and again in 2009.

Pujols, 35, is having a terrific bounce-back season, hitting .265/.337/.557 with 53 RBI and an AL-best 25 home runs. He hit 28 in total last year and 17 during an injury-shortened 2013 season.
