The Diamondbacks have narrowed their field of managerial candidates to four and the club is expected to make a decision by Monday, Bob Nightengale of USA TODAY reports. The field includes Jim Tracy, Phil Nevin, Chip Hale, and Sandy Alomar, Jr.

Tracy is the only candidate with previous experience as a manager in the majors, having captained the Dodgers from 2001-05, the Pirates in ’06-07, and the Rockies from 2009-12. In 2014, Nevin managed Triple-A Reno, Hale served as the Athletics’ bench coach, and Alomar was the bench coach with the Indians.

Choosing a new manager will be the latest in a string of changes Tony La Russa has made in Arizona, having fired previous manager Kirk Gibson, bench coach Alan Trammell, and GM Kevin Towers. La Russa hired Dave Stewart as the club’s new GM.
