Jon Heyman reports that the Mariners and Logan Morrison have avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1.75 million contract.
Morrison, acquired by the Mariners in a December trade, requested $2.5 million. The M’s countered with $1.1 million. He can get an extra $350K in incentives, however. He has hit .236 with a .708 OPS in 178 total games over the past two seasons.
