J.J. Redick pokes fun at himself for three-point contest gaffe

Nobody stood a chance in the three-point competition against Stephen Curry’s lights-out performance, but J.J. Redick came off especially badly. An otherwise fine performance in the first round was ruined because he had several of his shots waved off for having a foot on the line.

To Redick’s credit, he had a sense of humor about it.

Just found out that I set the record for most long 2s in a 3 Point Contest. Ever. Couldn’t be prouder.

It’s a dubious distinction to hold, but it’s a distinction nonetheless. Congrats to Redick on his accomplishment.
