Beating an NBA-level team in basketball is no easy task.

Thankfully for the Spurs, they have an opportunity to collect a precious victory without having to clear that bar – and they’re taking advantage.

Facing the 0-16 76ers – a team with multiple players who wouldn’t make any other roster – San Antonio will sit Tim Duncan and Tony Parker.

This will be the first DNP of the season for Parker, who probably appreciates the rest on a road back-to-back. Duncan is missing his second game of the year.

Tiago Splitter has played only one game this season, and Patty Mills has yet to play. Their injuries are legitimate, but most teams would be wary of resting key starters while other key players are hurt.

Not the Spurs, though – not that it should matter against Philadelphia, anyway.
