Ravens selected Alabama CB Jalyn Armour-Davis with the No. 119 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
A first-year starter in 2021, Armour-Davis (6'0/197) finished with 32 tackles and three interceptions, resulting in All-SEC Second Team honors. He is coming into the draft as one of the more exciting prospects with all the traits you want in an NFL cornerback. Armour-Davis has the look of an elite corner with his size and athleticism. As a former 100-meter state champion, he has the speed to guard downfield and can stay on pace with the fastest receivers in the game. His 4.39 40-yard time shows that. He also displays impressive footwork, showing it off in press coverage where you see him mirror a receiver’s route almost perfectly, granting minimal separation and using his length to disrupt passes. There’s not much he needs to improve, except sometimes he can be a little hesitant on his first move. Although he has the athleticism to recover, it could hinder him slightly against top-tier talent. There is very little to nitpick on Armour-Davis, and he can become of the bigger sleepers in this draft.
