Tough night at the office for Flyers goalie Steve Mason.
The 27-year-old had given up three goals or more just twice in his last eight games, but tonight just wasn’t his night, as the Islanders lit him up for three goals on 10 shots.
Frans Nielsen beat Mason just 55 seconds into the game and Brock Nelson got another by him in the first period.
Another Nielsen goal sent Mason to the showers early in the second frame.
