The results are in. The whole of the London 2012 Games was voted the No. 1 moment in the 25-year history of the Paralympic movement, the International Paralympic Committee announced Monday.

The complete 25-moment list is here.

The list was compiled first by public nominations, and then votes from the IPC Governing Board.

The list also included the IPC creation on Sept. 22, 1989 (No. 9 on the list), the U.S.-Russia sledge hockey final from Sochi on NBC (No. 16) and U.S. swimmer Trischa Zorn, the most decorated Paralympian ever with 55 medals (No. 21).
