North Carolina fans have nothing to worried about, as the injury suffered by freshman guard Seventh Woods has not been deemed serious.
Woods sprained his right ankle playing pickup with teammates last week. We’re still more than three weeks away from the start of practice and more than two months removed from games beginning. He should be fine by the time games begin.
One thing that is worth noting is that Woods has been banged up before. He missed time with a bone bruise in his knee as a senior in high school, he battled a high ankle sprain during his junior year and he broke his wrist in the summer after his sophomore season.
