Just before the start of Alabama’s first practice of the spring, head coach Nick Saban announced the indefinite suspensions of two linebackers -- including a starter -- the Birmingham News is reporting.Both Brandon Fanney and Prince Hall were suspended for violating unspecified team rules.While Hall will miss all of spring practice, there’s still a chance Fanney could participate at some point during the spring, Coach Woodcock intimated. Fanney will definitely not suit up for practice this afternoon, but his situation will be revisited and he could return for the Tide’s next practice.This is the second straight spring Hall will miss due to suspension. All told, it’s his third suspension since Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa.
