Allenby spends his time on the Vancouver Golf Tour and the Mackenzie Tour. He ranks first on the VGT’s order of merit on the heels of four straight course records that, starting at the beginning of May. After that run was over he pieced together a runner-up finish at the Canada Life Open (Mackenzie Tour). He did miss the cut the following week but his five-week form is still through the roof. The 34-year-old Canadian will now get his first taste of the big stage as he makes his PGA TOUR debut. Others to qualify today include Thomas DeMarco, Etienne Brault, and J.C. Deacon. The last one, Deacon, is rather notable since he’s the head coach for the Florida Gators. All four of them will be making their PGA TOUR debuts this week at Hamilton Golf and Country Club.
