Spieth 25-1 to win Slam, even with Rory at Open

Thumbnail

Think Jordan Spieth will win the Grand Slam this year? If you’re willing to put down on it, you’ll net a healthy return.

Online oddsmaker Bovada has installed the Masters and U.S. Open champion at 25-1 to win all four majors this year. If you think he’ll walk away from both the Open Championship and the PGA empty-handed, you’ll need to wager a sizable amount to generate any worthwhile return at 1-4. If you want to split the difference and say he’ll win one or the other, you can get in at 11-4.

As for the Open in specific, Bovada has McIlroy as the odds-on favorite at 4-1 and Spieth at 6-1. The Westgate Casino in Las Vegas, on the other hand, has them even at 5-1.

Other odds of note from the Westgate can be seen below:

If you’re betting someone with the last name Woods, you’re better off at the Westgate; Tiger will only net you a 40-1 payout on Bovada.

And finally, if you’re looking for the longest odds and the highest potential return on your money - Bovada’s shopping Tom Watson in his Open swan song at 300-1.
