Adam LaRoche is being himself

He’s a few weeks later we’re used to, but Adam LaRoche is finally realizing this is the second half of the season.

LaRoche went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 2-1 win over the Padres on Friday night and is now batting .418 (13-for-27) with four home runs and eight RBI over his last six games.

LaRoche has a .302/.363/.548 batting line and 911 OPS after the All-Star break during his career compared to a .252/.327/.449 batting line with a 776 OPS during the first half.

We’re not aware if the Diamondbacks already tried to put LaRoche through waivers, but they’d have just about no chance of getting him to a contender at this point.
