Ken Rosenthal reports that the Milwaukee Brewers have signed free agent utilityman Jedd Gyorko. Terms are not yet available but it’s a major league deal.
Gyorko split time with the Cardinals and Dodgers in 2019, playing in only 62 games and not hitting a lick, but he’s basically a league average hitter over the course of his career. He’s defensively flexible, spending time at first, second and third in 2019. In 2018 he even played a little shortstop.
