As scheduled, Indians right-hander Carlos Carrasco has been activated from the disabled list and will start Tuesday night against the White Sox after missing three consecutive turns with inflammation in his throwing shoulder.

Carrasco did not make a minor league rehab start, but he looked sharp in an intensive bullpen session Saturday and has experienced no lingering discomfort in his upper right arm in the days since.

The 28-year-old has registered a 3.53 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 173/32 K/BB ratio in 158 innings this season for the Tribe.

He can now finish 2015 with a few more positive notes.
