Carlos Gomez is teaching himself to talk like a rich person

I’m not sure where this came from, exactly (UPDATE: I’m told it’s in this week’s Sports Illustrated), but reader ‏@wiscoinferno shot it to me. And it makes me love Carlos Gomez even more than I did before, if that’s possible:

I’m picturing Gomez walking around with a monocle. Heck, he should go to bat wearing one. He doesn’t respect the game, I’m told, so maybe that’d class it up.
