The Orioles signed outfielder Delmon Young on Christmas Eve, but the one-year, $2.25 million deal won’t be officially announced until after Young takes a physical for the team on Wednesday, MASN’s Roch Kubatko reports.
In a part-time role for the Orioles in 2014, Young was productive, batting .302/.337/.442 with seven home runs and 30 RBI in 255 plate appearances. Young, now 29, was the Rays’ #1 overall pick in the 2003 draft.
