Non-tendered by the Reds last month, right-hander Logan Ondrusek has signed with the Yakult Swallows in Japan.
Ondrusek is a 6-foot-8 reliever with a 3.89 ERA in 271 career innings as a big leaguer through age 29, but struggled for Cincinnati in 2014 and was due for a raise to more than $2 million via arbitration.
According to the Japan Times his one-year deal with the Swallows is worth $1.2 million.
