Giants outfielder Hunter Pence has been activated from the disabled list and is in Tuesday night’s starting lineup against the Mets, the club announced on Twitter. 1B/OF Ryan Lollis was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento to clear room on the roster.
Pence missed five weeks of action due to tendinitis in his left wrist. It’s his second major injury this season as he suffered a fractured forearm during spring training and didn’t make his 2015 season debut until May 16.
The 32-year-old has hit .282/.329/.451 with two home runs and 13 RBI in 76 plate appearances this season.
