Longtime Mets broadcaster Ron Darling was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, underwent surgery and began treatment back in mid-April. Today there is some good news: he’s coming back.
Darling released a statement a few minutes ago saying that his cancer has been stabilized and that he is cleared to return to work. He’ll be back in the SNY booth tomorrow as the Mets take on the Giants at Citi Field.
Great news. Here’s hoping the recovery continues.
