Martin Truex Jr.'s team confirmed that he’ll go to a backup car after hitting the wall in Friday’s first practice at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Truex’s car suffered a broken left control arm.
Truex finished 27th on the speed chart for practice. Kyle Larson was the fastest.
