Safelite Auto Glass will be the primary sponsor for rookie Rico Abreu in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this season, ThorSport Racing announced Wednesday.
Abreu, back-to-back Chili Bow Nationals winner, will make his season debut in the No. 98 Toyota Tundra in Friday’s NextEra Energy Resources 250 Truck race at Daytona International Speedway.
“Safelite was on my midget for this year’s Chili Bowl Nationals, and we had some success finding victory lane,’' Abreu said in a team release. “I hope to be able to continue that success with them this season as I compete for wins, Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors and the 2016 championship.”
