If there’s anywhere I don’t want to be disturbed, it’s in the bathroom.

But I especially wouldn’t want to be disturbed in the bathroom of a haunted hotel by an earthquake.

With the Heat in Oklahoma City for tonight’s game against the Thunder, that’s the position James Johnson found himself in.

Johnson:

I was on the toilet in a haunted hotel, and the room just started shaking crazy and my door was wobbling back and forth. I’m nervous. I don’t know what’s going on, and I can’t get out of there fast enough because I still ain’t completed my bathroom break. So, I’m nervous.

And all of a sudden I get a whole bunch of knocks on my door, and I’m like, dang, I don’t know what it is. I open my door and there’s like six people, six teammates, outside: “Did you feel that? Did you feel that?” I’m like, “Yeah, what was that?” And they were like, “It was an earthquake.”

And the earthquake really sounds scary, but it eased my mind, because I’d rather that than the rumors of the hotel, you know? I wasn’t sure everybody felt it. I didn’t call nobody. But after I got the knock on the door and realized that everybody felt that, it made it easier.

Johnson is pleased with how this played out! That tell you how awful his situation was.
