But his brash talk carries the risk of getting egg on his face, and the Bucks’ series win over the Celtics put a whole omelet there.
After Boston’s 22-point Game 1 over Milwaukee, Pierce went on ESPN declared the series “over:"
He elaborated on ESPN the next day, saying the Bucks “may win a game, maybe two:"
Instead, Milwaukee won four straight by a combined 65 points. That made Pierce not just wrong, but historically wrong:
