Victor Oladipo was reportedly hoping to return to the Pacers late this month or early next month.
Now, we have a firm target date.

Three weeks is a long time to have such a specific date. I wouldn’t be surprised if Oladipo is ready slightly before or slightly after that.
But it seems important for him to have that goal. That a concrete target date even exists shows just how close he’s getting.
If Oladipo returns when hoped, he will have missed slightly over one full year since tearing his quad tendon.
The Pacers have performed remarkably well in his absence. They made the playoffs last year and are 23-14 this season.
His return will cause complications – most notably with Malcolm Brogdon, who has stepped up as lead guard. But they can fit together, and talent level is important. Oladipo will certainly raise Indiana’s.
