Warriors: Stephen Curry out at least two weeks

Stephen Curry wasn’t talking about just the bigger picture of life.

In terms of NBA basketball, he’s going to be alright.

Warriors PR:

This is good news for the Warriors, considering the downside could’ve been a season-ending injury that would’ve dashed their championship chances. But that doesn’t mean Golden State is out of the woods by any means.

The Warriors – who are up 3-1 on the Rockets – would face the Clippers or Trail Blazers in the second round, and their series will end Wednesday, Friday or Sunday. Obviously, Golden State is rooting for that series to go as long as possible.

At full strength, the Warriors would be favored against either potential opponent. But without Curry for the first few games of a series against the Clippers, it gets tricky. Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and Curry’s other teammates have one goal now: Keep the series close until Curry is ready to return.

And, of course, Curry must get healthy. It’s implied he’ll be ready in about two weeks, but that’s definitely far from a given.
