Devan Dubnyk made 18 saves in his Wild debut as Minnesota snapped its’ six game skid with a 7-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres Thursday night.
Dubnyk, who was acquired from the Arizona Coyotes on Wednesday, now has two shutouts on the season and 10 for his career.
Zach Parise had the game-winner at 5:13 of the first period - his first goal since Dec. 31.
Thomas Vanek’s eighth of the season gave the Wild a 2-0 lead after one period.
Kyle Brodziak, Matt Dumba and Jared Spurgeon had second period goals for Minnesota.
Matt Cooke and Erik Haula scored in the third.
Jhonas Enroth made 30 saves in the loss. The Sabres have now lost nine straight.
