Injuries were already an issue for the Florida Panthers heading on tonight’s game, as their big line was diluted thanks to Aleksander Barkov’s absence.
Now they may be down two-thirds of that big three (keep your head on a swivel, Jaromir Jagr), as Jonathan Huberdeau was shaken up after taking a significant check from Winnipeg Jets defenseman Jacob Trouba.
Here’s video of that unfortunate fall:
One added concern is that it sounds like Huberdeau was at least getting tested for a concussion:
Right down the tunnel for Huberdeau. Likely concussion protocol applies. #NHLJets

Mere moments after this was posted, it was confirmed that his night is over thanks to an upper-body injury:
#FlaPanthers Jonathan Huberdeau will not return to tonight's game. (upper body)
