After missing 11 games with an upper-body injury, center Bryan Little could be back in the Winnipeg Jets lineup tomorrow at home versus the Rangers.
Little (24G, 27A) hasn’t played since March 4. He wasn’t originally supposed to be out this long. The Jets are 7-4-0 without him, but have lost two of their last three.
“I think it’s going to come right down to the morning skate,” said Little. “If everything’s good, then it’s coach’s decision. Been feeling a lot better the last three or four days; they’re just being really cautious with it. ... They’re just worried about re-injuring it and being out for the rest of the year, including playoffs. ... Hopefully I wake up tomorrow and it feels good.”
“He has a normal game-day routine tomorrow,” confirmed coach Paul Maurice. “At some point with all injuries, it’s as good as it’s going to feel.”
