Even Steven Stamkos can’t really believe the way the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Montreal Canadiens 2-1 in the dying second(s) of Game 3.
Stamkos shared his stunned reaction with the Tampa Bay Times’ Joe Smith.
“You’re almost in disbelief, how did that happen?” Stamkos said. “Like pulling a rabbit out of your hat.”
Tyler Johnson believes that his goal safely beat the buzzer, yet that doesn’t mean he denies his good fortune.
“I must have done something right,” Johnson said. “I just don’t know what.”
Perhaps watching the replay in a loop would do the trick?
Stamkos: "Sometimes it's not what you do for 19:59, it's that one opportunity you get...It was in the net before we knew what was going on."

Cooper on Tyler Johnson: "He’s truly amazing. I’m extremely fortunate that I’m the coach that gets to call him over the boards” #TBLightning

Whether the Lightning stole one or not, the bottom line is that they enter Thursday’s Game 4 with a 3-0 series lead.
