The Pittsburgh Penguins will look for their fourth win in six games while the Minnesota Wild look to halt a five-game losing streak Tuesday night.
The Penguins won the only other meeting between the two clubs, 4-1, on Nov. 4 in Minnesota.
Minnesota has scored one goal in four of its last seven games and Nino Niederreiter, who was in the top 10 in NHL scoring in mid-December, hasn’t scored in 12 games.
Meanwhile Evgeni Malkin has been hot for the Penguins of late. He has one goal and one assist in three of his past four games. Malkin leads the Penguins with 47 points.
