Mexico’s star goalkeeper in Spain can’t get playing time thanks to a man from Cameroon, so he may be headed to Turkey.

Got all that?

Guillermo Ochoa’s destination became a big talking point after he reclaimed his spot as El Tri’s keeper with a dominant World Cup run, and the 29-year-old selected La Liga squad Malaga for a three-year deal.

But the only time ‘Memo’ has been able to get has been with his country recently; Ochoa has been an unused substitute in every game for Malaga thanks to the Cameroon national teamer Carlos Kameni.

Ochoa was at Ajaccio in France from 2011 until August, and spent the previous eight seasons at Club America. Now it seems his stint in Spain could be over inside of four months, if a Eurosport report is to be believed.

Turkish power Trabzonspor seems to be interested in Ochoa, and certainly he wants to play in games. But would some other clubs alerted to Ochoa in the summer be ready to step up for a second chance. AC Milan, Marseille, Liverpool, Real Sociedad and Arsenal were linked.

For the Premier League clubs, the Gunners now have David Ospina to back up Wojciech Szczesny, but might the Reds be interested?
