On Monday night Blaise Matuidi scored twice, including a stunning volley for his second, as France beat Serbia 2-1 in a friendly in Bordeaux.
Matuidi, 28, has been in rich goalscoring form of late as the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has netted two times and added two assists in Les Parisiens’ first four games of the Ligue 1 season.
After heading France into an early lead, this happened in the 25th minute as a corner found its way to Matuidi on the edge of the box.

The rest, as they say, is history, as the central midfielder battered in an incredible volleyed which was clocked at over 64 mph. Yeah, no wonder the goalkeeper ducked down on the ground as the missile Matuidi unleashed from his left foot soared past him.
