In the 27th minute with Manchester United level 1-1 with West Ham, Paul Pogba was controversially booked for simulation, and Jose Mourinho did not take it well.
The Portuguese manager, known for his outspoken language and wildly eccentric antics, reacted angrily to the call, booting a water bottle clear down the pitch and wildly gesturing on the sideline well out of his technical area. Referee Jon Moss came over and dramatically pointed to the stands, and Mourinho did not argue his marching orders, instead quietly exiting the playing field.

It’s the second time Mourinho has been sent off this season, having already been told to leave in a 0-0 draw with Burnley in October, for which he was suspended a match. He was also sent to the stands last season during Chelsea’s match with West Ham.
The call on Pogba was a highly debatable one. While there was no contact, it appeared that Pogba may have been looking to avoid a wild swing of the leg from Mark Noble that looked as if it could have caused serious damage had it connected. Instead, the referee saw Pogba’s actions as a dive, and he showed the Frenchman a yellow card, meaning he will miss the League Cup quarterfinal matchup on Wednesday, also against West Ham.
West Ham briefly took the lead just two minutes in as Diafra Sakho headed in a Dimitri Payet free-kick, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic converted an expert header off a long ball from Pogba to level things up.
