Duke has dismissed defensive back T.J. Douglas from the team, head coach David Cutcliffe announced Sunday evening. The always vague “violation of program policy” was the culprit here.
If that name doesn’t sound familiar to you, don’t fret. A redshirt freshman, Douglas saw action in 12 games as a reserve cornerback in 2014, registering one tackle in 62 snaps.
The Fort Myers, Fla., native had been suspended indefinitely since this spring.
