  • PHI First Baseman #3
Bryce Harper has been scratched from the lineup Tuesday due to a migraine.
Harper was slated to hit third for Tuesday’s game, but instead the two-time MVP will get Tuesday off while he recuperates. Alec Bohm moves over to first base with Whit Merrifield taking over at third. For now, Harper should be considered day-to-day.
  • CWS Shortstop #29
Pau DeJong went 2-for-4 with a solo home run against the Red Sox on Saturday.
DeJong’s home run was his 11th of the year. He hit a solo home run off Chase Anderson in the seventh inning. DeJong has turned back the clock this season as he’s on pace to threaten his career-high of 30 home runs that came in 2019. His 110 wRC+ is his best since his debut season in 2017. DeJong’s power resurgence gives him solid value in deeper formats.
  • CWS First Baseman #32
Gavin Sheets went 3-for-4 with a grand slam against the Red Sox on Saturday.
Sheets’ home run was his seventh of the year and the grand slam has him up to 27 RBI. It’s his second consecutive game with a home run and third of the month of June already. Sheets is hitting .246 with a .788 OPS on the season.
  • BOS Starting Pitcher #66
Brayan Bello allowed five runs in 4 2/3 innings and took the loss against the White Sox on Saturday.
Bello gave up nine hits, walked three and struck out two. Things came apart for Bello in the fifth inning when Gavin Sheets took him deep with the bases loaded for a grand slam. That’s been the tale of Bello’s season so far as he has just a 70 percent left on base percentage. His ERA is inflated at 4.78 while his xFIP paints a different picture at 3.66. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Yankees at home next week.
  • ARI Starting Pitcher #23
Zac Gallen (hamstring) threw off of flat ground without any issues on Saturday.
As long as he rebounds fine from that session, he’ll be cleared to throw a bullpen session. Gallen has been shelved since May 31 due to a Grade 1 right hamstring strain. It remains unclear if he’ll require a minor league rehab start or not before rejoining the Diamondbacks’ rotation.
  • CWS Starting Pitcher #43
Nick Nastrini allowed one run in 4 1/3 innings and got a no-decision in the White Sox’ 6-1 victory over the Red Sox on Saturday.
Nastrini gave up two hits, walked five and struck out five. He didn’t qualify for the win because he didn’t complete the requisite five innings. Nastrini has completed five innings in only two of his six starts and is yet to win a game this year. He has an 8.39 ERA and remains off the fantasy radar. The 24-year-old right-hander is set to face the Mariners on the road next week.
  • DET Center Fielder #60
Akil Baddoo reported feeling soreness in his knee following a collision with Colt Keith during Saturday’s loss to the Brewers.
Keith seemed to take the brunt of the collision in shallow right field — and was removed from the game — but it sounds like Baddoo got a bit banged up as well. He should be considered day-to-day.
  • STL Third Baseman #13
Matt Carpenter went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and a solo home run against the Rockies on Saturday.
Carpenter’s home run was his second of the season. He brought the Cardinals to within one run with a solo blast in the seventh inning. The 38-year-old is hitting .200 with a .611 OPS on the year.
  • COL Right Fielder #19
Charlie Blackmon went 3-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored, a double and a stolen base against the Cardinals on Saturday.
The stolen base was Blackmon’s fifth of the season. He’s hitting just .259 with two home runs this year, but figures to continue to see a decent amount of playing time because, well, it’s the Rockies.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher #22
Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) is scheduled to throw one more three-inning simulated game before beginning a minor league rehab assignment.
Kershaw threw a two-inning simulated game at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Friday without any issue, touching 90 mph during the session. If all goes well with his next simulated game, he would then be cleared to start a minor league rehab assignment. He still looks to be on track for a return around the All-Star break.
  • COL Shortstop #14
Ezequiel Tovar went 4-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI against the Cardinals on Saturday.
The two home runs give Tovar 10 on the season. He hit a solo home run off Kyle Gibson in the sixth inning and a two-run home run that gave the Rockies a 6-4 lead off Andrew Kittredge in the seventh inning. Tovar is up to .294 with a .813 OPS and 28 RBI on the season.
