This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. We’ll take a look at the six-game main slate starting at 7:00 ET on Tuesday.
POINT GUARD
Spencer Dinwiddie - Brooklyn (at New Orleans)
The Nets will continue to play without Kyrie Irving, meaning Dinwiddie will serve as the offensive leader of this team. He has looked comfortable in that role, translating to 38+ fantasy points in six of his last eight. There’s an excellent chance Dinwiddie will fly past that mark while playing up in pace against a New Orleans club that ranks dead last in defensive efficiency to point guards.

SHOOTING GUARD
Jrue Holiday - New Orleans (vs. Brooklyn)
Savvy DFS enthusiasts will be looking closely at players from this New Orleans-Brooklyn tilt. After all, it has the highest over/under of the night at 229.5. Holiday should represent a good chunk of that, as he has been playing some confident basketball with a strong 40 FPPG average on the season. He sees upwards of 38+ minutes in competitive games, lending upside in an expected tight contest like tonight. His opponent, the Nets, currently rank 22nd in defensive efficiency to shooting guards.
Also Consider: Jrue Holiday, Garrett Temple
SMALL FORWARD
Mikal Bridges - Phoenix (at LA Clippers)
Devin Booker has missed the last two games with a forearm injury, and Bridges has stepped up with 28 and 34 fantasy points in 30 and 31 minutes respectively. Bridges’ playing time would be solidified if Booker is ruled out again, giving him an excellent chance to finish within that aforementioned range. That being said, Bridges will only be on my DFS radar if Booker doesn’t play. If the Phoenix superstar is active, then pivoting to Joe Harris as a mid-range small forward makes sense.
Also Consider: Brandon Ingram, Kelly Oubre Jr., Marcus Morris (tournaments)
POWER FORWARD
Jabari Parker - Atlanta (at New York)
Take note that the power forward position hinges on the (questionable) status of Anthony Davis. If “AD” is playing, he makes for a strong overall pick. If he’s out, Jared Dudley becomes a streaming option at minimum salary … Outside of that, Parker represents an intriguing mid-range lift. He’s averaging 30 FPPG on the season, which represents his value threshold on most DFS sites. In other words, he only needs an average game to put forth a serviceable performance in terms of “per dollar” value. There’s a great chance he’ll top that threshold against a New York team that ranks dead last in defensive efficiency to power forwards.
Also Consider: Anthony Davis (if playing), Jared Dudley (if Davis out)
CENTER
JaVale McGee - LA Lakers (at Indiana)
McGee would get a sizeable boost if Davis is ruled out, but he can be viewed as a value filler either way. Sure, McGee’s fantasy production has been a rollercoaster ride lately, but I’m confident we’ll see his good side against Indiana - who ranks 27th in defensive efficiency to centers. Even though he flopped last time out, McGee has topped 22 fantasy points in five of his last nine outings. That includes upside games of 37 and 41 FP.
