The 37-year-old former PGA TOUR member accepted a job with Arthur J. Gallagher in his residence of Greenville, S.C. As for his decision to leave the life as a touring professional, the husband and father of two took a pragmatic approach. “I last played [full-time] on the PGA Tour in 2010, and I really gave myself two years to get back there,” he told Upstate Business Journal. “In 2011 and 2012 I was playing on the Web.com Tour. ... I wasn’t playing great, and I wasn’t into it, and wasn’t happy with it. If you aren’t in the right place mentally, you can’t do it effectively at all. You can’t do it unless you are 100 percent committed. Then, last October, I decided it was time for a new chapter. ... I didn’t want to spend five or six years on the Web.com Tour trying to get back out there while also managing family life and home life.” Warren went 105-for-197 on the PGA TOUR for $5.14 million. His career-best finish was a co-runner-up at the 2007 Reno-Tahoe Open.
