The California alum has recently turned professional, and this is his first PGA TOUR event as a pro. His previous claims to fame included a runner-up finish in the 2012 U.S. Amateur and making the cut as an amateur in the 2013 U.S. Open. He has no status on the PGA TOUR, so any money he makes will not be official.
