    Rockies optioned LHP Evan Justice to Triple-A Albuquerque.
    Withe Daniel Bard (forearm) returning to the Rockies’ bullpen on Monday, someone needed to get the boot, and Justice drew the short straw this time around. The 25-year-old hurler registered an 8.59 ERA, 3.00 WHIP and a 7/8 K/BB ratio over his 7 1/3 innings of work in nine appearances at the big league level.

    Justice, 25, has pitched between three different levels in the minors this season while posting a 3.49 ERA and 63/26 K/BB ratio over 38 2/3 relief innings. He’ll be making his major league debut when he gets into a game.
