Mike Aviles has been sidelined since suffering a concussion on September 1, but the Indians utility man has been cleared to return by doctors.

Aviles experienced nausea and dizziness following a diving catch in the outfield, but passed MLB’s concussion protocol this morning.

Aviles has played six different positions for the Indians this season while hitting .245 with five homers and a .605 OPS in 97 games.
