I don’t like alternate orange (or red or solid blue in most cases) jerseys, but if the Giants are going to do it, at least they’re finally doing it right:

As Grant Brisbee notes at McCovey Chronicles,-- complete with visual aids in the form of a 1981 Fleer Willie McCovey card -- the shade and the script now match what the Giants sported in the early 80s. It’s a better, more muted color and the script Giants adds a nice touch to it that the block Giants didn’t have.
