William Byron is picking up where he left off following last Friday’s win at Kansas Speedway.
In the first of two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice sessions Thursday at Dover International Speedway, Byron was fastest in the 33-truck field, covering the high-banked, one-mile concrete oval at 159.426 mph.
Brandon Jones was second-fastest at 158.695 mph, followed by Matt Tifft (158.423), Cameron Hayley (158.402) and Matt Crafton (158.040).
Another practice session takes place at 4 to 4:45 p.m. ET this afternoon.
