Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis has had a rough start to the season, one put on national display Thursday night when he got torched by Marquise Goodwin for an 84-yard touchdown pass. It hasn’t been just one play, it’s been a couple of weeks of struggles and Revis’ coach has had to defend him.
During Thursday night’s game, J.R. Smith — the free agent who eventually will re-sign with the Cavaliers — tweeted this about Revis.
Damn #Revisisland turning into a tourist resort... #JustSaying

The next day Revis came back at him.

We both won ships. We both will go down in the history books. Just think its funny him saying that especially after we've crossed paths. ☺️

At least Revis can still defend on Twitter.
