Jason Kidd is in his first year as head coach of the Nets, and he retired following last season’s campaign with the Knicks for a reason.
After working hard throughout his 19-year career to become a high-percentage shooter from three-point distance, Kidd seemed to lose his shot entirely in his final games in New York, most noticeably during the postseason.
With the racks of balls already on the court in order for Joe Johnson to prepare for his appearance at the three-point contest in New Orleans during All-Star weekend, Kidd tried his luck, going through all five racks of balls.
The result? Pretty much what you’d expect from someone who was forced into retirement in large part due to the disappearance of his shooting stroke.
